Mid-1990s: Former Town Dog Left a Legacy of Goodwill

Back in the 90s, when Brownie the Town Dog of Daytona Beach’s grave was rediscovered, Vince Clarida, who actually knew Brownie, wrote a column for the Halifax Historical Society newsletter.

This column was eventually shortened and used for a Brownie pamphlet that is still available at the Halifax Museum. Various shortened versions of this column were previously posted here.
