If you walk along the Sweetheart Trail in downtown Daytona Beach, Florida, you will see historical signs along the trail telling the history of our downtown and the riverfront.

Strangely, when these signs were created, one wasn’t made for Brownie the Town Dog of Daytona Beach – even though his grave is the official start of the trail and he is a major part of the area’s history!

Well, that error is about to be corrected!

The above draft signage is currently being worked on and will be installed sometime this Fall.

Here are two currently installed historical signs to give you an example of how Brownie’s sign will look once in place.
